Dear Church family and friends,
Sometimes, day-to-day tasks require a full risk assessment:
You have to make an appointment and you have a specific date and time in mind. The only thing that’s stopping you is that you need to phone someone. So you can either delay it until it’s literally the only thing you have left on your to-do list – or just get on with it. Putting it off means that the likelihood that your desired appointment is gone is higher; getting on with it means that you might just get what you want. They might also rudely tell you ‘no’ and not give you a chance to research a different option. Or they may not answer the phone at all. There are many possibilities of what might happen, the only certainty being that you won’t know until you try.
Submitting to the unknown in order to achieve the necessities was the theme of Pastor Buddy’s sermon this Sunday. It is the next in our Psalm series which we will be re-visiting each first Sunday of the month throughout the year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN4Shs5oIEc.
