Dear Church family and friends,
“Failing to prepare is preparing to fail”
What happens if you don’t have any past experience to draw from in order to prepare? How can you get ready for something that you’ve never lived through before? We wait for Christ’s return, but how can we know when it will happen and what we need to do when it does? All these questions are answered in Pastor Buddy’s sermon on Matthew 24: 15 – 35 from Sunday:

This week in Church…
Praying Moms will meet on Zoom tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at 7:30pm. Next week’s meeting is also online, but on Monday (21st) at 9:30am.
Young Adults’ Bible Study (YABS) also takes place on Tuesday. Meeting in various places around Giessen, they all start at 7pm and have a time of prayer, fellowship and Bible Study together. To find out who meets where, please write to yabs@ibc-giessen.org.
Mid-Week Bible Study on Wednesday at 7pm is still looking at the kings of Israel. Newcomers are always welcome! Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Israel Room of the FTH, just log in to the Zoom meeting from home or wherever you find yourself.
Worship Service takes place on the usual day and time of Sunday at 11am in the Chapel Room of the FTH. For those already travelling, or have found themselves ill during the summer, we invite you to join us via our livestream.
If you require a link to our livestream or any other online activity we have coming up this week, please e-mail office@ibc-giessen.org. For a full list of all upcoming events at IBC Giessen, please take a look at the Church Calendar on our website: https://www.ibc-giessen.org/calendar/.
Men’s Breakfast…
… and just like that, we’re two weeks away from the next Men’s Breakfast again! On Saturday 26th July at 9:30am there will be another chance for the gentlemen to have their fill of eggs, bacon and coffee at the Student Kitchen in the FTH. If you’re a man and still in the Giessen area at this time, you are more than welcome to bring something to the buffet and be part of the group – just let us know beforehand by writing to the address given above!
Have a blessed week!
