What a great Baptism service we had yesterday afternoon! Six people took part in this next part of their walk with Christ, a public showing of how He washes us clean of our sins and rights our relationship with our Father.

This week in Church…
Praying Moms gathered together via Zoom this morning. Their next prayer time is on Tuesday 26th August at 7:30pm. We will provide a link in the next Church announcement.
Young Adults’ Bible Study (YABS) takes place on Tuesday evening at 7pm. They will be meeting in their smaller groups dotted around Giessen. To find out which one’s easiest for you to get to, please write to yabs@ibc-giessen.org.
Mid-Week Bible Study is taking a break until 10th September, when a new season starts. There will be no meeting for the next three Wednesdays (this week included).
Men’s Breakfast takes place this coming Saturday (23rd) at 9:30am. It will be the last time that the men will gather to enjoy food, fellowship and encouragement in the Student Kitchen of the FTH, as the FTH need the room in September and there will be a permanent change of location for all of IBC Giessen’s non-Sunday activities in October. If you plan on being part of the group, please write to the this e-mail address below and tell us what you’ll be bringing with you.
Worship Service takes place on the usual day and time of Sunday at 11am in the Chapel Room of the FTH. If you are unable to make it, you are more than welcome to join our livestream.
