What a cliff-hanger! Our last sermon on the book of John for this year ends on chapter 13 verse 38, with Jesus’ questioning Peter’s promises, and delivering one of His own – Peter will deny his association with Jesus three times before a rooster crows. Our efforts for Felix Henrich’s Christmas boxes reached their conclusion yesterday after the service – the pile on the table turned into over 30 boxes! A big thank you goes out to all those who brought things, wrapped boxes and made sure that everyone knew what they were doing. We won’t know who received what, but we do know that these packages will be a blessing and encouragement to those who celebrate Christmas away from their families on freight liners.

Praying Moms met online this morning at 9:30am. Their next Zoom session will be next Tuesday (2nd) at 7:30pm.
Young Adults’ Bible Study (YABS) meets on Tuesday evenings at 7pm. More information can be found in the WhatsApp group or by asking Pastor Johannes, Mona or Oliver. Another way you can get in touch is by writing to yabs@ibc-giessen.org.
Mid-Week Bible Study will be an online only session this Wednesday at 7pm.
Women’s Christmas Brunch takes place on Saturday 29th November at 10am in the kitchen at Campus für Christus.Ladies, don’t worry if you haven’t put your name on the list, if you write to the e-mail address given below we can send it on to Kathy who will make sure a place is made for you! Otherwise, we are looking forward to beginning this Advent season together with good food, an input, and fellowship on Saturday morning.
Worship Service on Sunday at 11am might be taking place on the last Sunday in November, but it is also the first Sunday of Advent – and we’ll be sharing the Lord’s Table together. If you are joining us via the livestream, you may wish to get some juice and bread before logging on.

An afternoon trip for the children…
There will be a youth event on Sunday 14th December. This time, all children in the 5th school year group and above are invited to the musical ‘Die ganze Geschichte’ in the Stadthalle Wetzlar.
