Update for Monday, April 21st 2025

Dear Church family and friends,

“Death is dead, life has won, Christ has conquered!”

That’s what we have celebrated this weekend! We get to live in freedom and have a close relationship with God, because His Son died in our place. His empty grave shows that even death couldn’t stop Him from saving us. He is Risen, He is Risen indeed!

Our Maundy Thursday service didn’t necessarily have a singular sermon, rather two main moments of Biblical reflection. You can see them in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H5RiunPg44

On Easter Sunday, Pastor Buddy looked at the story of Christ’s Resurrection through Matthew 28 : 1 – 5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud8pe1m9aLE

On Sunday morning at 11am in the Chapel Room we’ll have our next Worship Service. You are more than welcome to watch via our livestream if you are not able to make it for whatever reason.

If you require a link to our livestream or any other online activity we have coming up this week, please e-mail office@ibc-giessen.org. For a full list of all upcoming events at IBC Giessen, please take a look at the Church Calendar on our website: https://www.ibc-giessen.org/calendar/ .

He is Risen, the grave is empty – His promises are fulfilled and we can be called children of God because of it! May this blessing, this truth, go with you throughout the week!
